Noise removal is performed in Edit mode, and it smoothes the noise well enough, but there is no “Auto” option. There is an interesting viewing option that shows only noise, not a shot, in shades of gray. Practically the same effect may be achieved in Photoshop if you use the method of individual decomposition.
